On Monday afternoon, Kansas City Chiefs fans of the Arrowhead Pride community were asked to vote on a poll in The Feed, answering a question about which hampered position is most worrisome at this point.
Of the three positions listed, wide receiver was the choice for nearly half of those who voted. However, the comment section correctly called me out for leaving off the defensive line as an option.
That only became a stronger point of emphasis with the news today that defensive end Ashton Gillotte
ruptured his plantar fascia.

How is it possible that DL is not on this list? We, currently, have Jones and Tonga as DT. ONL is on the PUP list and Peter Woods is, seemingly, hobbled up right now, too. Who else do we have? To call this a non-worrisome unit seems to be…..off.

How is DE not on here? That’s gotta be concern #1. I actually really like R Mason but it feels like we’re 1 steady starter off here. Even if EO regains some form (welcome back!) it feels lackluster

DE and OL depth worry me. Secondary has a lot of bodies, we will see who emerges. Same with receiver with less talent there.

The defensive line is my biggest worry. Especially the backups. Offensive line depth would be a close second. I’m not sold on Benson at right tackle.
