On Monday night the Seattle Seahawks suffered their first loss by more than a touchdown since late in the 2024 season when the Chicago Bears came to Lumen and delivered a 34-17 thumping.
The Seahawks offense spent the night sputtering, never moving the ball well, with costly turnovers once again proving, well, costly.
The return of Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price neither provided the spark needed for the running game to take off, with the duo combining for just 52 yards on the ground on sixteen
carries. That’s just 3.3 yards per carry, which is not going to worry any defenses across the NFL.
Of course, in order for Price to make his return to the field the Seahawks needed to free up a roster spot, which they did by waiving Robert Henry Jr. Many fans had hoped that Henry could contribute to a running game that seemed stuck in the mud with Emanuel Wilson and George Holani splitting the bulk of the workload after the Seahawks poached Henry off the practice squad of the Washington commanders. However, Henry never even suited up for Seattle on gameday, and now he is on his way back to the Commanders after he was claimed off waivers by his once former employer.
As a waiver claim, Henry will go onto the 53 man roster for Washington.
