As a result, Real Madrid still have no counter-offer to respond to. There is still no agreement between the clubs.

Earlier on Saturday, Diomandé called out sick for a friendly in
Austria, which automatically caused discussion about deal being close. That was not the case, but it could have been a precaution to keep the attacker healthy:
🚨⏳ This was always the clear plan of Yan Diomande and Real Madrid, as reported last night and today: Diomande will not travel to Austria with the RB Leipzig squad this afternoon.
Real and RB remain in negotiations. Real are pushing to finalise the deal today or, at the latest, on Sunday.
