The Chicago Bears will play the Cincinnati Bengals in week two of the preseason, and while the specifics of that game have yet to be officially announced, the Bengals’ team site lists it for Saturday, August 22, at 6:00 p.m. CT. Earlier today, Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor said that they will host the Bears for a joint practice on August 20.
The Bengals do allow fans to attend some camp practices, so keep an eye out for that information.
The Bears have yet to confirm the practice, but last year
they hosted joint practices with the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills, so you know Chicago head coach Ben Johnson relishes the opportunity to get his team lined up against another squad.
The Bears and Bengals played a memorable regular-season game in 2025, with the Navy and Orange outlasting Cincinnati 47-42 behind an incredible Caleb Williams-to-Colston Loveland touchdown.
For now, there is just the one joint practice scheduled, but the Bears host the Cleveland Browns in preseason week one and travel to play the Tennessee Titans in the preseason finale. If any other news breaks, we’ll share it here at Windy City Cridiron.
