What a crazy game this has been for Kentucky running back Seth McGowan.
McGowan was a key part of Kentucky’s offense, catching several passes despite having some struggles in the run game, but Kentucky’s leading rusher this season went out of tonight’s game with Texas due to an injury, leaving with EMS personnel.
Then, according to the ESPN and UK Sports Network broadcasts, McGowan even went to the hospital to get a scan on his shoulder.
Everything came back good, it seems, because in the fourth quarter, McGowan was back on the field carrying the ball for the Wildcats.
The ESPN broadcast did report that McGowan’s scans came back clear when he came back out on the field.
We know Seth is a tough guy from watching him play on the field, but this turn of events is pretty wild.
Hopefully, McGowan can come back out and help lead Kentucky to a big-time victory tonight.
