While the college basketball transfer portal has all the attention, Kentucky Football just gained a high school commitment in Miguel Wilson, a 3-star cornerback in the class of 2027.
On Wednesday, Hayes Fawcett broke the news that Wilson had committed to Will Stein’s program. It marks the sixth commitment in 2027 for Kentucky, which continues to rebuild its program in Year 1 of the Stein era.
A 5-10, 170-pound native of Alabama, Wilson plays at Vigor High School and was primarily recruited by new Kentucky
cornerbacks coach Allen Brown. The talented DB is ranked 82nd among cornerbacks and 28th in the state of Alabama by On3.
Among his other scholarship offers were West Virginia, NC State, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Memphis, UAB, Liberty, Troy, and Jacksonville State.
Wilson becomes Kentucky’s sixth commitment in 2027, Larron Westmoreland, Brady Hull, Bryian Duncan Jr., Ty Ashley, and Matthias Burrell.
