The Guardians didn’t lose anyone in the Rule 5 draft.
Travis Bazzana has confirmed that he will be playing for Team Australia in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. It is also being reported that both Bo and Josh Naylor will be playing for Team Canada. It is also being rumored that both Erik Sabrowski and Cade Smith will be joining the Naylors for Team Canada, but the rumor has not been officially confirmed.
The Akron RubberDucks announced that they will be acquired by Prospector Baseball Group.
A couple of the players are in town. I really wish there was some kind of festival where the fans could meet the Guards in the off season. Some sort of fanfest? Guardsfest? That would be neat.
