It does not seem as if Real Madrid has been all that discreet about its fondness for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, does it?
There have been multiple rumors over the last month, but the L’Equipe’s report featuring a leak from the France locker room that occurred last week and the subsequent confirmation from Bild over the weekend, but those came as a surprise to Real Madrid per AS:
In fact, the leak—which has been openly discussed in the French national team’s locker room—regarding his relationship
with Real Madrid has come as a huge surprise, as the club once again distances itself completely from the summer’s second major saga.
There’s still a month and a half left in the transfer window. At Real Madrid, the priority remains the same: finalize Vinicius’s contract extension and monitor developments regarding potential moves involving a roster they believe is capable of returning to the top.
What’s clear is that both Atlético Madrid and Bayern must resolve, one way or another, an issue that could complicate matters for them. Neither team has any intention of selling. Barcelona is openly pursuing Julián Álvarez, while Real Madrid is completely distancing itself from Olise, as they acknowledge privately. Atlético is talking about 500 million, and rumors surrounding Bayern suggest 223 million—which would be a transfer record.
The situation with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Olise is just odd to say the least. For Bayern Munich fans, though, it still remains a situation where there is no reason to fret about Olise until the player makes a request or a demand to leave.
At that point, maybe fans can get concerned. Otherwise, it will be business as usual.
