- The big news for UW yesterday was the commitment of 4-star WR Tre Moore. He’s currently the highest-rated commit to UW from Texas-ever. Aaron has the story here. UW Athletics Dots
- The SEC and Big Ten released a statement saying that they do not support the ‘Protect College Sports Act’ that was recently introduced in Congress.
- UW has a new Men’s Golf coach: Thomas Sutton. Previously he was the associate head coach at Arizona State, and before that was an assistant coach at UW.
- Three UW athletes have been named 2026 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars in their respective sports: Sam Ford (Men’s Rowing), Mary McDonough (Gymnastics), and Erika Matsuda (Women’s Tennis). 41 other UW athletes were also recognized in their respective sports, including Jonah Coleman, Jacob Manu, Ephesians Prysock, and Demond Williams Jr. in football.
- Five Huskies were named CSC Academic All-District in Baseball: Colton Bower, Tommy Brandenburg, Sam DeCarlo, Jackson Hotchkiss, and Casen Taggart.
