The Wisconsin Badgers have been on a recruiting tear in the 2027 class, jumping up to 16 commits after three-star cornerback Royalton Allen committed to the program on Tuesday.
With one of the strongest in-state classes in recent history, the Badgers fully capitalized, securing eight of the top 10 recruits in the state. That included four-stars Kingston Allen, Korz Loken, Cole Reiter, and Hunter Mallinger, and three-stars Dustin Roach, Reece Mallinger, Isaac Miller, and Ethan McIntosh.
The Badgers
also ended up adding three-star Keaton Wollan to that in-state mix in May, but they also started to make waves out of the state.
The big target ended up being composite four-star quarterback Jack Sorgi, who is expected to be the lone quarterback for Wisconsin in the class.
But, Wisconsin has now also gotten commitments from four-star wideout Jai Jones, three-star cornerback Royalton Allen, three-star safety DJ Davis, three-star defensive linemen David Hall and Will Zaccagnino, and three-star linebacker Nathan Jones.
That has brought Wisconsin to 16 total commits in the class, and Wisconsin has cracked back into the top 20 of the recruiting rankings. Now, the Badgers stand at No. 18 in the country, and they’ve still got some work to do.
It’s a stark difference from Wisconsin’s 2026 class, which had only 13 commits after a couple of flips and ended up outside the Top 60 in the country.
Now, can Wisconsin keep its momentum rolling and finish the summer strong with their remaining targets during official visits?
