The Guardians lost 6-4 to the Baltimore Orioles today
Joey Cantillo was, again, awful. He went 2 and 1/3rd and gave up four runs and five weeks. Franco Aleman wasn’t great, either and Slade Cecconi surrendered his scheduled homer. I vote Austin Peterson gets the Cantillo starts for the rest of 2026, until Ben Lively would demonstrate his readiness.
Steven Kwan and Jo Adell had two hits and Nathaniel Lowe hit a three-run homer in the ninth. So, that’s nice to see some life.
I don’t know if this team
is gonna do anything with Jose’s hand like it is, currently. But, today was the scheduled loss of this series. Let’s get these guys the next two.
