Rumors for the Day:
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said he heard that Andrade was disciplined by WWE, and was sent home from a TV shoot for something that was not “drug related, not alcohol related, not marriage related.” No one would say what it actually was, apparently.
- Meltzer also said WWE wanted Andrade to work AAA and he didn’t do it but he’s unsure if that has anything to do with this situation or not.
- PW Insider, meanwhile, disputes that, claiming there were never any pitches for Andrade to work in AAA and therefore he couldn’t have turned them down.
- According to Fightful Select, Claudio Castagnoli still has “a significant amount of time left on his deal” and there isn’t much concern within AEW about his leaving the company.
- While speaking on Unscripted with Sportskeeda, Jake Hager claimed even Chris Jericho would go weeks without getting a text back from Tony Khan.
- For what it’s worth, Rey Mysterio told The Club 520 podcast that he took his daughter to the Performance Center and she loved the training there.
