The Cleveland Browns have signed former Memphis and Ole Miss star TE Caden Prieskorn to the practice squad and released UDFA RB Ahmani Marshall in a corresponding move.
Prieskorn, a 6’6”, 250-pound tight
end from Ole Miss, has spent time with the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2025 after being signed as a UDFA this season by the Detroit Lions in May. He was recently released from the Bucs’ practice squad on October 14th, and Cleveland decided to bring him in due to his combination of size and athleticism.
While at Ole Miss, he garnered All-SEC honors for his on-field production as both a blocker and pass-catcher. He was a participant at the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl as well, before the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Browns released preseason stud RB Ahmani Marshall as well. Marshall provided a spark in the backfield for Cleveland throughout the summer, but he just couldn’t find a way onto the 53-man roster this year.
