Barcelona received some good news on the injury front on Tuesday as left-back Alejandro Balde has returned to training after injury.
The left-back has been out of action since sustaining a hamstring injury
during training at the start of the month and has missed wins over Getafe, Valencia and Newcastle in the Champions League.
Balde was back with the group to test himself, according to Diario Sport, and is currently on track to return in time for the Champions League game against PSG on October 1st.
The defender is unlikely to be risked against Real Oviedo or Real Sociedad, but it seems that Barcelona are hoping he can play in the game against Luis Enrique’s side at Montjuic.
Balde’s return would be a boost for Barcelona and Hansi Flick as injuries are starting to bite. Lamine Yamal remains sidelined with a knock, while Gavi and Fermin Lopez are also now out for a little while.
