Desperate for a win, Florida State football (2-2, 0-1) welcomes Virginia (3-1, 1-0) to Tallahassee on Saturday afternoon at 3:30.
On Thursday night, Florida State released its updated injury report against the ‘Hoos. Darryll Desir remains out, while Quindarrius Jones and Caleb LaVallee are still listed as probable after missing last week’s game against Central Arkansas. Given Tony White’s defense has struggled in the run and pass game, getting those two back will be critical to securing an upset home
victory.
On offense, running back Samuel Singleton Jr. remains out. Linebacker Noah LaVallee was added to the out list, while defensive back Ashlynd Barker, linebacker Chris Jones, defensive back K.J. Kirkland, defensive back Donny Hiebert and tight end Xavier Tiller, all previously listed as probable, were removed from Wednesday’s report.
Switching gears to UVA, the ‘Hoos took a hit on Thursday, as running back Peyton Lewis and offensive lineman Grant Ellinger were downgraded from questionable to out, and defensive end Devon Baxter is now listed as doubtful.
