Green Bay Packers starting cornerback Keisean Nixon, who left Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with a stinger, was upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Tuesday. Tuesday was just a walkthrough, and since the Packers didn’t practice on Monday, both listings are estimates.
It seems highly unlikely that Green Bay will host a full practice this week, as they will be traveling to Detroit tomorrow. For reference, the Lions had walkthroughs on both Monday and Tuesday.
Beyond the Nixon
update, there were no changes in status for Green Bay today. The following players were estimated non-participants:
- WR Savion Williams (foot)
- DE Lukas Van Ness (foot)
- DT Karl Brooks (ankle)
These Packers were estimated to be limited participants:
- RB Josh Jacobs (knee)
- WR Matthew Golden (wrist)
- WR Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder)
- WR Dontayvion Wicks
- RT Zach Tom (back)
- LB Quay Walker (neck)
- LB Edgerrin Cooper (foot/shoulder)
- CB Keisean Nixon (neck)
- CB Nate Hobbs (knee)
- S Javon Bullard (ankle)
On the Lions’ end of the injury report, edge defender Josh Paschal went from a full participant in the team’s Monday walkthrough to being a non-participant on Tuesday with a back injury. Beyond that, the only other change was starting safety Brian Branch (toe/ankle) going from a limited participant on Monday to a full participant on Tuesday.
Players who remain non-participants for Detroit are:
- WR Kalif Raymond (ankle)
- TE Brock Wright (neck)
- C Graham Glasgow (knee)
- S Kerby Joseph (knee)
Lions head coach Dan Campbell has already said that Joseph won’t be playing against the Packers. Last year, Joseph was an All-Pro who led the NFL in interceptions.
