As the NFL season continues to progress, the Cleveland Browns are hoping to continue being near the top of the AFC. The Browns are currently 4-2, holding first place in the AFC North, and are taking on a struggling Tennessee Titans team. Should Cleveland move to 5-2 after this week, they will really be establishing their position amongst the other top teams in the AFC. There are a few other key games to watch that will influence the overall standings.
The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, two
of the top teams in the AFC, are on bye this week. Their status will remain unchanged. The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the New Orleans Saints will be an important game to watch, as those are the Browns’ next two opponents. It will be interesting to see how those teams match up to give Cleveland an idea of what to expect.
There is a big AFC North matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals taking place that will have a big impact in the division and within the AFC overall. A Bengals loss will push them even further towards the back of the pack in the division, and a Ravens loss will give the Browns the opportunity to jump ahead even more.
Then there is the Los Angeles Rams versus the Las Vegas Raiders, which could impact Cleveland’s NFL draft stock.
