The Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates continue their three-game series at beautiful PNC Park in Pittsburgh this afternoon. After last night’s 4-3 come-from-behind victory, the A’s hope to win this series today and then go for the sweep tomorrow.
Taking the mound today for the A’s is 22-year-old righty Luis Morales. This season Morales is 4-1 with a 3.08 ERA in seven starts since joining the team on August 1st. He’ll be facing off against Bubba Chandler for the Pirates. The 23-year-old rookie is 2-1
with a 5.66 ERA in five MLB appearances. He also has one save this year.
