It’s game day, folks! In just a few hours, we will be watching the Minnesota Vikings attempt to push their record to 2-0 on the 2026 regular season, and (just as importantly) 2-0 in the NFC North, as they head to the Windy City to take on another division rival in the Chicago Bears. According to the folks from Football Zebras, the officiating crew for today’s game will be headed up by Land Clark. Oddly enough, the Vikings (according to Pro Football Reference) have not had a game officiated by a Clark-led crew since Christmas Eve of 2023, when his crew handled the Vikings’ 30-24 loss to the Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium. Seems like an awfully long stretch.

It looks like it’s going to be a rare weather game for the Vikings, according to our friends at WeatherNation. Apparently, it’s going to rain all weekend in Chicago, and today is no exception. There will be rain and rain showers throughout the game today, with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s all afternoon and winds out of the northeast at 20 to 25 miles/hour. It could get a little sloppy out there at Soldier Field today, folks.

The Vikings remain an underdog going into this one. The line continues to show the Bears favored by 4.5 points in this one, with the over/under resting at 47.5 points.
