Happy Roberto Clemente Day to all!
The White Sox will host the Orioles for a three-game series, the second-to-last home stand of the season. The White Sox are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month as well, with players both past and present.
Mike Tauchman, the Roberto Clemente Award nominee for the White Sox, is leading off tonight. It will also be a bullpen game with Tyler Gilbert getting the start. The rest of the lineup is ideal, with both Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero starting, and Colson Montgomery at short.
Kyle Bradish gets the start for the Orioles. Bradish is 0-1 this season, after spending most of his short career on the injured list, most recently following UCL surgery last fall. His ERA is 2.65, and he has collected 21 strikeouts.
Tonight’s game is free on MLB TV, but you can also watch on CHSN or listen on ESPN Chicago 1000. First pitch is 6:40 p.m. CT.
