The New York Giants open their Week 9 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles as 3.5-point favorites on the road, per FanDuel.
The 4-2-1 Giants are solidly in control of the NFC East following what can only be called a winning bye week. The Dallas Cowboys stunning collapse against the Arizona Cardinals, while the Eagles fell to 2-6 and last place in the NFC East with their 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders.
This marks just the second time in 2026 that the Giants open a week as favorites.
It’s a
shocking development that nobody would have seen coming at the start of the year that the Giants are actually favored in Philadelphis. The Giants are coming off of a bye week and upset victory as 10.5-point underdogs, while the Eagles are coming off a sixth straight loss.
It will be interesting to see how the line moves over the course of the week, and we’ll see if the Eagles make a change at quarterback after Tanner McKee’s 212-yard, one interception, five-sack performance.
