Yesterday, the Spurs hosted their 13th annual Christmas Tree Donation. The event, co-hosted by Bruce Bowen and members of Methodist Healthcare and Methodist Healthcare Ministries staff, gave away more than 150 decorated Christmas trees and holiday wreaths to existing patients and clients.
The Spurs continue to brighten up the season, even as the active players and coaching staff are on an extended road trip.
Tomorrow the Spurs are in Los Angeles to play the Lakers in the Emirates Cup Quarterfinals.
Bowen, who picked up three Championship rings with the Silver & Black from 2001-2009, has been in San Antonio over the past few years coaching boys high school basketball.
