Chiefs fans’ confidence
Chiefs Kingdom’s confidence level dipped dramatically after the Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Before the ugly showing, Chiefs fans hadn’t let the confidence meter dip below 89% since the season began.
Make a trade, Veach!
We asked Chiefs
Kingdom this week whether the Chiefs needed to invest in trading for a new wide receiver ahead of the NFL’s November 10th trade deadline. An overwhelming 75% of you replied that yes, the Chiefs need pass-catching help added to their roster.
With injuries to Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice, a lot has been put on Xavier Worthy, and I think it’s fair to say he hasn’t exactly exceeded expectations so far. As a result, the Chiefs have been forced to rely on unproven guys like Jalen Royals and Cyrus Allen to try to help carry the load.
If last week’s loss to Seattle indicated anything, it’s that Kansas City currently has a talent deficit at receiver. So it’s no surprise that unconfirmed rumors abound that the Chiefs are calling around the league about possible trade candidates. What the Chiefs are willing to give up to make a trade happen is a big unknown.
We have a little over a week to see if any of this materializes. But at least we know where the fans stand.
