Riding a seven-game win streak, the No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the unbeaten No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers on the road on Saturday evening. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. on FOX.
Wisconsin enters the game 5-0 in conference play with wins over No. 24 Illinois, No. 20 Minnesota, No. 15 Indiana, No. 10 Purdue, and No. 20 Oregon. They’ve played a bevy of ranked opponents so far this season, but none will be as challenging as Saturday’s matchup with the Huskers.
Nebraska hasn’t dropped a set since
September 20th, and they most recently beat Indiana on the road in a sweep.
Wisconsin is going to face a tough challenge, considering the experience difference, but they’ve got some young talent looking to stand out against the best team in the country.
The Huskers haven’t played as much ranked competition this season, but they’ve dominated teams all year long. They haven’t gone to a fifth set once and have only played in a fourth set twice. That includes a sweep of No. 2 Texas.
It’s the biggest game of the season so far for the Badgers. Are they up for the challenge?
