The best time of the MLB offseason is finally here as the Winter Meetings are beginning in Orlando. However, on Sunday, the focus of Braves Country was on franchise legend Dale Murphy and his latest opportunity to get into the Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, Murphy did not get the required votes from the Contemporary Baseball Era voting process. Jeff Kent was the only former player voted in during the process. For Murphy, it is yet another disappointing result in his effort to get into the Hall of Fame,
a place many feel he deserves to be.

Alex Anthopoulos was pretty clear that the Braves still have plenty to take care of this offseason as he arrived at the Winter Meetings.
One positive piece of news is that Grant Holmes is considered to be healthy by the Braves after rehab.
