Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) unveiled its official poster for the upcoming UFC 322 pay-per-view (PPV) event, recently made official for Sat., Nov. 15, 2025 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. Headlining the card is the welterweight title fight pitting newly-crowned 170-pound champion Jack Della Maddalena against former lightweight kingpin Islam Makhachev , as well as the flyweight championship bout between division champion Valentina Shevchenko and ex-strawweight titleholder Zhang

“I’m going to go for it,” Della Maddalena told Submission Radio. “Obviously, that would be the best-case scenario, get the finish. I can see it happening and I can see it blowing the roof off MSG. Taking out pound-for-pound No. 1 with no doubts, a finish would be the dream. I definitely feel like [Islam will] test the feet. I think it’s going to start on the feet and we’ll go from there.”
“I think he’s going to try and mix it up,” Della Maddalena continued. “I think he’s probably going to try and get on the wrestling early, I’d imagine, looking back on the Belal fight. He probably sees that Belal [Muhammad’s] mistake was maybe not getting on the wrestling early [at UFC 315]. I expect in the first round we’ll be getting into at least some grappling exchanges.”
