the bullpen. The 26-year-old justified his return to the rotation by throwing 5 1/3 frames of one-run ball on three hits — including a solo home run — and zero walks while matching his career high of eight strikeouts.
For the O’s, fellow righty Kyle Bradish will climb the hill looking to continue his recent stretch of success that saw him toss quality starts in five of his last six outings and his last three straight. The 29-year-old posted a 2.03 ERA and 2.56 FIP over his last 40 innings of work, allowing 23 hits (one home run) and 12 walks against 37 strikeouts, earning wins in four of those six games.
