Heading into Week 3 off the shores of Lake Erie, the storylines are potentially loaded for the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers. The Browns will kick things off by inducting three new Browns Legends, including WR Brian Brennan, as well as honoring RB Nick Chubb after he signed a one-day contract with the team.
Then we get to the field, where a little wind is all that is expected after last week’s huge delay
.Injuries have been a big story all week, with the Panthers ruling out three defenders
and having two key receivers as questionable for the contest. Cleveland has CB Tyson Campbell and S Grant Delpit questionable, but both are expected to give it a go today.
For Carolina, things are not as clear. WR Jalen Coker is likely to play, but fellow receiver Xavier Legette looks like a true 50/50 call:
Coker leads the Panthers with 16 receptions, 204 receiving yards, and two touchdowns, while Legette is third on the receiver pecking order behind Coker and Tet McMillan.
With inactive lists due 90 minutes before kickoff, we should know the fate of all four questionable players at 11:30 AM.
