Cody Rhodes kicked off tonight’s (Oct. 30) Very Nice, Very Evil episode of SmackDown with a fiery promo hyping up his Last Man Standing match against Randy Orton that’s coming up on Nov. 7 at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Rhodes pre-emptively apologized to Orton’s family and fans for what he has to do at Crown Jewel, which is deliver on his promise of punting off Randy’s head. The Viper used that same move to disfigure Rhodes this year at WrestleMania 42, and the receipt Cody has in store for him
is so big that it will bankrupt Orton.
Orton has mercilessly punted off the heads off dozens of wrestlers throughout his career, some of whom are now dead, and they will all be loaded in Cody’s boot when he permanently changes Orton’s complexion at Crown Jewel.
As Cody left the ring, commentator Corey Graves warned that Orton could take advantage of Rhodes if he walks into Crown Jewel with this kind of blind rage.
How many yards down field will Cody punt Randy’s head off in Saudi Arabia? Let me know your thoughts on Cody’s fired-up promo in the comments below, Cagesiders.
