The Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots started off the week with a load of players on their injury reports. There were a few changes on Thursday before Friday’s official report labeled three players as questionable, including TE David Njoku and S Kyle Dugger.
Saturday, the Browns announced that QB Shedeur Sanders hurt his back and added him as questionable for the game. QB Bailey Zappe was elevated from the practice squad in case Sanders was unable to play. Sanders and Zappe were out on the field
warming up a few hours before the game started on Sunday. Zappe is not eligible to be the emergency third quarterback based on NFL rules regarding players elevated from the practice squad.
DT Sam Kamara was also elevated, a sign that DT Adin Huntington will not clear concussion protocol in time for the game.
With 90 minutes to go until kickoff in New England, both teams have released their inactive reports for Sunday with updates on Sanders, Njoku and Dugger.

- CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
- S Damontae Kazee
- RB Raheim Sanders

- WR Efton Chism
- DE Keion White
