The preseason is all about avoiding injuries, and, for the most part, the Las Vegas Raiders had good luck this summer on the medical front.
However, they may have an issue as third-round pick, defensive end Keyron Crawford was injured late in the third quarter of Thursday night’s preseason finale against the San Francisco 49ers at home.
The auburn product appeared to get injured while trying to make a play. He went straight to the blue medical tent and then was taken on a cart to the locker room minutes
later. He had his left shoe off.
Time will tell if Crawford will miss any time in the regualr season.
Crawford showed a good motor in the preseason and had a sack shortly before being injured. He is projected to be a backup this season. If he is hurt, it could create room for Patrick Johnson or Cian Slone, who both looked good in the preseason.
