Well, at least they made it exciting at the end, I guess. The Tennessee Titans dropped to 1-9 with their 16-13 loss to the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium. It was another week where the offense looked
abysmal for most of the day and the defense actually played pretty well.
Cam Ward finished the day with 194 yards passing and a touchdown to Van Jefferson. We hoped there would be some adjustments to the offense coming off the bye, but it looked pretty much exactly like it has all season. No shock that Mike McCoy wasn’t able to add any wrinkles.
Speaking of McCoy, I once again ask Mike Borgonzi to fire McCoy. Why he continues to not go for 4th and short in the opposing teams territory is beyond me.
Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson is probably gone after the season when the new coach comes in, but he has done an excellent job this year, especially considering all three of the corners he started the year with are gone.
So, it was basically just another week of Titans’ football. Just seven more to go!
