Marc Casado’s future may be set for a big twist thanks to a new update claiming the Barcelona star has been offered to Serie A giants AC Milan.
The midfielder has been linked with Monaco and clubs in Saudi Arabia after struggling for game time at Camp Nou but could now be heading for Italy, per Diario Sport.
Casado would prefer to remain in Europe, and his agent Jorge Mendes has made contact with Milan to offer his services.
Former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has just taken over the Rossoneri
and is being tipped to strengthen his midfield, particularly as Youssouf Fofana is expected to leave San Siro.
However, Barcelona want around 20 million euros for Casado if he is sold which is one potential sticking point. The report adds that if Casado goes to Italy, it could therefore be on an initial loan with an option to buy.
Real Betis are also mentioned as another potential destination for Casado as a replacement for Sergi Altimira who is set to leave for Sporting Lisbon.
