Everton had a pretty comfortable win on home ground midweek against Wolves, moving into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. This weekend they will welcome Ipswich Town to Hill Dickinson Stadium for the very first time.
The newly-promoted side sit just behind the Blues in the table, having won two and lost two of their games so far. They have scored seven in those four games and do possess a goal threat, but have also given up ten goals so the Toffees will be looking to get some of their own too.
Who’s Out?
Jack Grealish and Ainsley Maitland-Niles both started midweek and should be good to go. Harrison Armstrong missed out midweek with a minor knock but is expected to be fit as well. Summer signing Christian Nørgaard is still out, as is Merlin Rohl, with no clear word on when they can be expected back. The international break is for the first time going to be two weeks long from September 21 to October 6, with countries playing in four games instead of the usual two.
