Boxing superstar Anthony Joshua got a taste of MMA grappling when he tangled with UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett as part of an Under
Armour campaign. “AJ” quickly realized he did not belong on the mat; though to be fair, “The Baddy” looked equally uncomfortable trying to box the heavyweight hurter when they returned to their feet.
“First time I’ve been in the cage — I just said to myself, this ain’t for me,” Joshua said.

Nice to see Pimblett staying lean between fights.
“The Baddy” is currently in talks to fight Ilia Topuria for the lightweight title in early 2026, though he faces stiff competition from fellow 155-pound contender Justin Gaethje. As for Joshua, six years older than Pimblett at 36, he’s looking to rebound from his Daniel Dubois loss last fall.
