Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (6-6)
SYRACUSE 5, BUFFALO 4 (BOX)
Cristian Pache hit a solo home run in the second inning to open the scoring in this one. Ryan Clifford doubled in a run in the fourth before a pair of Buffalo errors later in the inning plated the Mets’ third and fourth runs of the afternoon. And Christian Scott went five innings without surrendering a run, struck out seven, and walked one, making for a pretty comfortable game for the Mets up to that point.
Buffalo scored four runs off the Syracuse bullpen in the sixth,
though, as Joe Jacques and Joey Gerber combined for a pretty poor inning. To his credit, after Syracuse reclaimed the lead on a Jackson Cluff sac fly in the top of the seventh, Gerber went back out there and put up a zero in the bottom of the inning. Ryan Lambert and Jonathan Pintaro each threw a scoreless inning to preserve the win.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (3-2)
SOMERSET 12, BINGHAMTON 2 (BOX)
Well, at least Wyatt Young got to pitch for the first time in his professional career. After Will Watson had a pretty good start—four innings, four strikeouts, one walk, and one run—things went haywire quickly after the Rumble Ponies turned to their bullpen. Somerset scored against five of the six Binghamton relievers who got into the game, as Brian Metoyer was the only Rumble Ponies pitcher who wasn’t charged with a run.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (0-5)
JERSEY SHORE 2, BROOKLYN 1 (BOX)
Like their major league counterparts, the Cyclones had a quite night at the plate. Starting pitcher Channing Austin worked around a staggering five walks in four innings to allow just one run. But after Brooklyn scored a run in the top of the fifth, neither team scored until the Blue Claws plated the game-winning run in the bottom of the eleventh.

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (3-2)
GAME 1: ST. LUCIE 6, DUNEDIN 3 (BOX)
If you had told me five years ago that we’d one day see Craig Kimbrel, A.J. Minter, and Tommy Pham appear as teammates in a St. Lucie Mets game, well, I wouldn’t have believed you. But here we are, as Kimbrel and Pham try to prove that they’re still big league players, while Minter is working his way back from a lat injury that he suffered last spring.
St. Lucie fell behind 1-0 in the top of the second but quickly put up a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning. They scored four more in the third, which set them up for a relatively easy remainder of the game. Dunedin scored a couple of runs in the fifth, but that was it was the scoring in this one.
A portion of this game was played on Wednesday, but weather dictated that it be suspended in the third inning, and it was played through the ninth inning before a seven-inning game followed.

GAME 2: DUNEDIN 6, ST. LUCIE 5 (BOX)
Dunedin jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the second and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way. St. Lucie did make it a close game with a two-run third, but the Mets gave up three more runs—two in the fifth, one in the sixth—en route to a loss in the shorter of the two games of the day.
