The Philadelphia Eagles
kick off their 2026 NFL season in an NFC East matchup against the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field.It has been the norm under head coach Nick Sirianni not to play starters in the preseason, and that trend continued over the past few weeks. With so many new faces and players, it’ll be interesting to see how everything comes together on game day — especially on offense.
The defense should be as fun as ever, and Riq Woolen should give the secondary an extra boost.
There might not be as many new faces on defense this season, but it’s always fun to watch Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter up front, and to watch guys like Cooper DeJean, Jalyx Hunt, and Nolan Smith flying around the field.
