The Cincinnati Bengals are returning the same offensive line from last season for the first time in Joe Burrow’s time with the team. Luckily it is one of the most successful units he has had in front of him as well.
The offensive line is also a good mix of experience. Of course, Orlando Brown Jr. has been around the block going into his ninth season. Dalton Risner is going into eighth, and then you have Ted Karras entering his 11th
season. Then the young guys in Amarius Mims and Dylan Fairchild have more than held their own. The chemistry created by this has been one of the better we have seen in Cincinnati.

Training Camp Report: Bengals Break Old-School Camp
“Another day to put hay in the barn,” Knight said. “It’s not closing a door. It’s not opening another door. You just continue to reap what we’re sowing since we’ve been back in OTAs. Continue to plant those seeds. Continue to watch them grow into that beautiful fruit we want.”
Demetrius Knight is going to be one of the most watched players by Bengals fans this season. After being selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, he ranked as one of the worst linebackers in the league. Cincinnati opted not to add any real challenge to Knight’s spot as a starter after improving everyone around the linebacker position. Will that be enough? We will see what the seeds grow into.
Final Five Observations From 2026 Bengals Training Camp
This was the last practice that the media could attend from start to finish. When it was over, Joe Burrow stayed on the field to throw deep balls to Dohnte Meyers, and Landon Robinson got in extra work as well. Now, here are my final observations (with video shot throughout camp).
A simply must read article. It really breaks down quite a bit of how training camp has gone. Not to mention it talks quite a bite about the extra work Meyers has put in to make this squad.
Bengals rookie can set a modern record in significantly harder fashion, and Cincinnati should want him to do it
Parker, drafted in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft by Cincinnati, has been the busiest Bengal of the preseason. He’s played 119 snaps for both the second- and third-team offensive line through two weeks of exhibitions. Defensive end Isaiah Foskey is the closest to him at 113 snaps on defense.
The idea here is that Parker will get an extensive look at right guard to prove he is versatile enough to backup both positions in a pinch.

2026 NFL 53-man roster deadline: Cut candidates, trade targets
A numbers game in Cincy’s beefed-up defense has one or both of the 2024 Day 2 draft picks likely out the door. I’d lean Jackson, who’s had less of an impact than Jenkins over two seasons, as the more likely candidate to be released. Seventh-round rookie Landon Robinson has flashed during the preseason and is on the verge of pushing for snaps.
The Bengals really shot for the moon when they drafted their two Young defensive tackles. Unfortunately, they seemed to have missed.
Lamar Jackson says health limited his mobility in 2025, will still do ‘whatever it takes to win’
“It really would not [have] put my team in a good position if I was just running hurt — losing yards, things like that [were] happening,” Jackson said, via ESPN. “But whatever it takes to win, that is what I am all about and [I have] always been about that too.”
We will see how much Jackson will truly run, and how much he was held back by health. If he returns to some state of himself that he is talking about them he is truly one of the harder quarterbacks to contain. However, injuries can pile up quickly, and Baltimore knows what life without Jackson looks like. Injuries have been I’ll timed on the years where he commits to running.
NFL elevates Pro Bowl selection; AFC-NFC Pro Bowl game will no longer be staged
“The Pro Bowl has always been about recognizing the players who distinguish themselves as the very best in the NFL,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL executive vice president, club business, international and league events. “A Pro Bowl selection will return to its original purpose, honoring the best of the best. We want that distinction to carry even greater meaning for the players, their families, their clubs and our fans.”
I suppose this is what happens when a terrible Browns quarterback who threw 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions makes it and the other two are the Bengals’ quarterbacks who split time on the year.
Over recent years it truly has become more expected for players to pass on the Pro Bowl. There simply isn’t enough incentive for them to go and play these games. The NFL gave it a go with the flag football side and several others things.
At least now the players who were intended to get a Pro Bowl nod will actually get that instead of the 10th guy down the list.
