The Green Bay Packers have traveled west this week for their second preseason game, a game that they will be playing at significant altitude. The Denver Broncos are playing host to the Packers this week as the two teams look to continue preparing for the regular season to start in a few weeks.
Tonight’s game should see the Packers give their starting units a pair of drives apiece before they take next week’s game off. The preseason finale, at home against the Arizona Cardinals, will come after a few
days of joint practices with their opponents, so the starters are not expected to play in the game after getting competitive reps during the week.
That’s not the case this week, however, as the Packers practiced at home on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of their trip out west. Hopefully the starting offense can put some points on the board and there are no major injuries like the last time the Packers played in Denver, when Micah Parsons and Zach Bako-Bewele both went down with significant injuries.
