Charles Oliveira seems hellbent on scoring a Max Holloway rematch and won’t stop “yapping” about it. The newly-named “Predator” once again called for a “Blessed” do-over in the wake of his Mateusz Gamrot
victory atop the UFC Rio fight card last weekend in Brazil.
Blessed seems (kinda) interested.
The bookies at BetOnline.ag opened Holloway as the -150 favorite against +130 for Oliveira.
Oliveira (36-11, 1 NC) was stretchered at UFC Fight Night 74 following his “bizarre” loss to Holloway (27-8) in Saskatoon. The Brazilian claims he was injured before the fight and “everything went numb” after suffering a torn esophagus; however, the hospital released “Do Bronx” after finding no major injuries.
Or maybe his “third world” physicians missed something important.
Holloway, who broke into the lightweight Top 5 by retiring Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 earlier this year in New Orleans, is still dealing with a “stupid” hand injury and is unlikely to make his Octagon return until some point in early 2026, though “Blessed” is still looking to get back into action before UFC White House in June.
