Bayern toying with idea of Wanner return? (Liverpool Echo)
This would be a wild turn of events, eh?
Per this report, Bayern Munich is jousting for position with Real Madrid and Liverpool for PSV Eindhoven’s Paul Wanner:
Liverpool are one of a few clubs reportedly showing an interest in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Paul Wanner. The Reds are said to be keeping a close eye on the development of the 20-year-old.
Polish outlet Sportowy reports that Liverpool are closely watching Wanner, who plays as an attacking midfielder for PSV. He can also play in a deeper role,
with his versatility potentially appealing to the Reds.
However, they face competition from Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, who are also reportedly interested. PSV are said to be wanting a price of around €45million-€50million (£38.5million-£42.8million) if they are to sell, with the final value dependent on achievable bonuses.
Wanner, of course, was a Bayern Munich academy prospect before his career had just ran its course at the club. After relatively unsuccessful loan stints with SV Elversberg and Heidenheim, Wanner was sold to PSV Eindhoven. Playing mostly as a No. 8 this season, Wanner has one assist in eight games across all competitions this summer.
At the time of his original move to PSV Eindhoven, it was reported by Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg that Bayern Munich secured a buyback clause on Wanner. It remains to be seen if that is actually the case (which would make any attempt to bring him back a lot easier).
Kobel offered to Real? (ESPN)
Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel has reportedly been offered to Real Madrid:
Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel has been offered to Real Madrid, as per Diario AS. Madrid have closely monitored the Switzerland international, though their interest has not yet progressed beyond tracking his performances and they remain committed to Thibaut Courtois, who is close to extending his contract until 2028. However, the 28-year-old Kobel is regarded as a possible candidate to take over as No. 1 if he leaves Dortmund in the coming years.
Pound-for-pound, goalkeeper might be the strongest position in the Bundesliga — and Kobel could be the best of the lot. Even with that, it would be somewhat shocking to see him go to Real Madrid.

Milan eyeing Demirović? (Fußball News journalist Ekrem Konur)
AC Milan might be keeping a close eye on VfB Stuttgart’s striker Ermedin Demirović, who is off to a hot start:

📌Amorim has prioritized the Bosnian striker for January. Stuttgart demand at least €35M to discuss a sale. #VfB #SempreMilan
Demirović has four goals in five games so far this season, including a hat-trick in the Champions League vs. Viking.
This puts a lot into perspective (Hafþór Björnsson)
Sure, Manchester City star Erling Haaland looks like he’s a Targaryen, but if you ever wondered how he would match up with The Mountain, well, now you know.
Hafþór Björnsson, the actor who played Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane on Game of Thrones, dropped this pic on X. Somehow, Björnsson makes Haaland look like a kid again:
Björnsson doubled down with this as well:
