Week 11 of the NFL regular season came to a close with 17 Maryland football alumni seeing the field.
Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson had his best game of the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In a 44-32 win on Sunday, Johnson contributed both in the run and passing game to help the Bills bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10.
The 28-year-old recorded two catches for 61 yards and a touchdown, in addition to nine yards rushing. His first touchdown of the season went for 52 yards, and crucially put Buffalo ahead of Tampa Bay before halftime.
The win over the Buccaneers advanced the Bills to 7-3 overall. Buffalo is now 1.5 games behind the New England Patriots for the top spot in the AFC East.
They will face the Houston Texans on the road on Thursday Night Football to open Week 12.
