If you’ve wanted the Seattle Seahawks to play complete, dominant football, that first half must have had you euphoric.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba has a touchdown catch, Tory Horton has a touchdown catch and a franchise record-setting 95-yard punt return touchdown, Kenneth Walker III has two touchdown runs, and the Seahawks are up 38-6 on the New Orleans Saints. It is possible to crush an inferior opponent like the good ol’ days of Seahawks football! And how about those special teams? Horton had the punt return TD,
Dareke Young had a big kick return to set up another short field, and D’Anthony Bell created another short field with a blocked punt. The undermanned defense has shut the Saints offense down, and the only thing they haven’t done is generate a sack or turnover.
Maybe we’ll see Jalen Milroe get a few snaps late in the 2nd half. After all, he is listed as active for game day after being a healthy scratch last week.
