Just one week ago, we learned Naomi is pregnant and therefore the women’s world championship is now vacant. That means WWE is going to have to come up with a way to crown a new champion, and they have yet to do that.
The original plan called for Stephanie Vaquer to challenge for the title at Clash in Paris this coming Sat., Aug. 31, 2025, in France. Now, she won’t be wrestling on the card at all, according to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. She’s still getting a women’s world championship match,
it will just have to come at a later date, as he told her on Monday Night Raw this week in Birmingham:
Pearce told her he needs at least another week to figure out what to do about the whole title situation. WWE, to this point, have yet to even hint at a possible plan for it.
We’ll just have to stay tuned, I suppose.
In the meantime, here’s the Clash in Paris card as of this writing:
- World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk vs. LA Knight
- Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook: Sheamus vs. Rusev
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul
- Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
