Free agents abound. Many names are still left on the board for teams to bring aboard their clubs, yet the negotiations continue. We know that the team is still trying to bring back J.T. Realmuto, but for some reason, the team and player have yet to reach an accord on what a proper contract should look like. Outside of that, however, we have heard little of the team being connected to other players other than Bo Bichette, which feels like a long shot.
However, should they be pursuing someone?
These are some of the bigger names left and at least one feels inevitable in where his final destination will actually be (that being Bregman). Yet each would fit with the Phillies in an easy to conceive way. The outfield the team has projects to be rather rough around the edges while either of the infielders would probably be an upgrade over what they currently employ.
