Indiana men’s basketball is set for its first marquee matchup of the season against Marquette in Chicago.
The Hoosiers opened the season with a 98-51 win over Alabama A&M on Wednesday at Assembly Hall in Bloomington,
Indiana. The Bulldogs didn’t put up much of a fight, but it was a good look into what Darian DeVries’ program is going to look like.
Marquette is 2-0 on the season with wins over Albany and Southern. Offense hasn’t been an issue for the Golden Eagles, who scored 80 in the former and 100 in the latter. It’s year five for Shaka Smart in Milwaukee and his program hasn’t missed the tournament yet.
Here’s how to watch the game:

Predictions
Both the Hoosiers and Golden Eagles are built to score points, so this should be a fun, high-flying offense-oriented matchup. Indiana is still coming together as a team while Marquette has the benefit of a few returners from last season. This would be a nice one for the Hoosiers to have but I think it’ll be an uphill battle if they’re able to pull it off.
