Running back Cam Skattebo won’t play on Sunday for the New York Giants against the Philadelphia Eagles. Listed as doubtful because of a hamstring injury, Skattebo is officially inactive.
The Giants are also without running back Tyrone Tracy, who is on IR with a hamstring injury of his own. That means veteran Devin Singletary will lead the Giants’ backfield, accompanied by Gregory Desrosiers in his first NFL game and Phil Mafah, who has five NFL carries.
Backup wide receiver/kick returner Charlie Jones,
who was questionable with a hand injury, will play for the Giants. Will the injury factor into his ability to catch or protect the ball?
In a bit of a surprise, Marcus Mbow is inactive and rookie offensive tackle J.C. Davis will fill the swing tackle role.
