What is the story about?
The Jacksonville Jaguars are fresh off a win over the San Francisco 49ers, and the Week 4 battle left a few marks.
The following Jaguars left the game due to injury.
- Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
- Right guard Patrick Mekari (knee)
- Right tackle Anton Harrison (elbow)
- Defensive end Travon Walker (wrist)
- Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton
- Safety Eric Murray (neck)
- Safety Antonio Johnson
Mekari, Walker, and Murray did not return during the game.
Unfortunately, we don’t have much further information at the moment, as injuries were not discussed during coach Liam Coen’s postgame availability.
Walker would be an especially devastating absence should he miss time. He had one of the best performances of his career in Week 2,
and really, he’s been a wrecking ball all season. The former first overall pick ranked 11th in pressures, 7th in run stops, and 8th in PFF grade among 107 qualifying edge defenders entering the week.
