ABOUT THE GAME

In its opening Big 12 contest of the 2026 season, TCU heads to the Acrisure Bounce House to face UCF in the first trip to the Sunshine State for the Horned Frogs since 2003.
Entering Saturday’s game, TCU has won five of its last six Big 12 road openers with three of the last four being double-digit victories for the Frogs.
This will be the Frogs’ first ever trip to UCF and just the second meeting between the two teams all time. With the trip to Orlando, TCU has now played on the road against every member of the current Big 12.
UCF has just six players on its roster from the state of Texas, with three coming from the DFW Metroplex.
Jaden Craig is at the top of the Big 12 in three stats this season, including pass yards, 300-yard performances and yards per game.
John Hoyet Chance has averaged 46.5 yards per punt this season. TCU’s season record for punting average is 46.1.
TCU has allowed 29 points through three games, the lowest opponent point total in the first three games since 2014 (21 points.)

UCF NOTES

The 2026 slate is the 20thseason that UCF has called Acrisure Bounce House home. The Knights are 92-32 at home since opening the on-campus stadium in 2007, including five seasons where UCF has been perfect in Orlando (’14, ’17, ’18, ’19, ’21)
The Knights have 76 victories since the start of the 2017 season, is the third most of any program in the Big 12. The win total is tied for the most in the state of Florida and is tied for 20th most in the nation since that time.
UCF is 22-1 when scoring 30+ points under head coach Scott Frost. The Black and gold have tallied four 30+ point games since Frost’s return for his second stint with the Knights.
TE Dylan Wade needs four touchdowns to become UCF’s FBSera leader for receiving touchdowns at the tight end position. He posted five in his first season with UCF. Jordan Akins (2014-17) holds UCF’s FBS tight end touchdown record with eight.
The Knights welcome 49 newcomers on scholarship to the roster and a total of 58 when including walk ons. This season, 31 of the newcomers are from Division I programs while a total of 15 come from high school. UCF had 63 newcomers in 2025.
