Earlier this week, we talked about how it looked like Hurricane Isaias could play a factor in this week’s Browns vs. Jets game in the Meadowlands. We’ve continued to monitor the weather forecast in the event things changed, but as of late Saturday night, it’s looking even more concrete: expect an almost guaranteed steady dose of rain throughout the entire game.
We looked at the forecast several hours before and after the game, and the rain shows 99%:
On the bright side, it doesn’t appear that it will
be windy, as the projections are showing about 10-12 miles per hour to the East. However, it’s possible that there could be some wind gusts that come up:
Temperatures also won’t be horrible at 61 degrees. But any time you have a slick ball for the entire game, you never know how a turnover can change the game for either side. You can bet that defenders will be more aggressive trying to rip out the ball, and I imagine both defenses will have the advantage in a low-scoring game.
